Freezing

It froze last night. I think the weather was waiting till I planted my poor little trees. It is currently 40 degrees out.

We just had our house 30 day inspection (it was rescheduled from its original date). Hopefully they will get out and finish our tile and our kitchen cabinets now. They are also going to look at the grading around our house since water doesn't get away from the house very well. One of the best things the will fix is our laundry room exhaust fan. It is so loud you can hear it anywhere in the house.

I'm going down to LA on Wednesday. Thursday will be my last day at Northrop. Hopefully I will start with FUSD on the following Thursday. I will have a week off inbetween so that should be nice.

Finally

I actually exercised tonight. I bought Deb Dance Dance Revolution for Christmas, and I was practicing so that I could beat her (-= I burned over 100 calories in about 10 minutes (with 50 of them being in one minute and thirty seconds). Crazy stuff. I really enjoy it. Go ahead, laugh now and get it out of your system.

For those of you that don't know, I got a job with Fresno Unified School District as the Web Master. I just got the final word today. All that remains is getting finger printed and making sure I'm not a horrible criminal, and I will be able to start a job that really sounds like a ton of fun. I will get to redesign the site from scratch; so basically it will be mine. This is a great opportunity for me.

Nothing much else going on. I've been sick for the past week, but I am finally getting better (hence the exercising). Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get out and do some much neglected yard work.

Fruity

Sorry for the long blank period here in blog land. Life has been interesting, but nothing has happened that I really want to post here. The Wrights and the Winters were here for new years and fun was had by all, and Deb and I went to my parents house for my birthday party, but besides that... nope!

My mom did buy me some fruit trees, and I bought some fruit trees and some other stuff. We will be growing:
Three varieties of Necterines
Two varieties of Peaches
Four varieties of Cherries (all on one tree, way too cool!)
Four varieties of Apples (all on one tree)
One Appricot
One Plum
Two Chinese Wisteria (vine)
One yellow flowering tree that is apperently poisenous

I am currently sick and very bored.

I'm not going any where today...
