Wow... It worked!

People commented! How exciting! So what if it was a little bit of an obvious way to get people to post...
To answer peoples' questions (I'm putting it here since nobody actually goes back and reads comments):
I am a Computer Systems Analyst. In other words I make the computers in my company work. I am working on becoming a professional photographer and plan to begin advertising very soon.
Blogs are not on their way out. Their current conception may be a fad, but they will continue to evolve. How can something be a fad if I only just started doing it?
Get DSL.
I hate it when people are put off by fighting words (-=
It wasn't supposed to be a porn museum. I thought it was dumb and a total waste of time.
I guess I shouldn't ask for comments when my mother reads my blog (-=

HA! Gotcha! Pushed some buttons there, huh? But now that you IDed me, no one is going to get between a man and his mother in a discussion of any sort : )
DSL is on the way! : )

Jeff, you should be glad your mother is computer-literate enough to comment on your blog. My mom can barely read and write email. Needless to say, I have not provided her with my blog address. =)

I figured out it was Debbie, although her comment about blogs being a passing phase put me off the trail for a second.

Actually until she replied above I did not think it was her. It did not seem like her writing.

Hi Mommy!!!!

p.s. Sign your comments! (-=

Well, you have to either be a blogger or anonymous and I like anonymous; if I knew you weren't on to me I would not have come out : ) I was trying to sound like a clever person.
Anyway, commenting here, my list of comments was everything I could think of to add to your list of why people weren't commenting. I actually had three more things but in the process of writing I forgot some of them.
So, to comment on the points you took off on...you do not use fighting words to comment on social injustice. I went back and read all your back posts. You actually are quite rational about those issues. You actually only use words like hate when you get your feelings hurt. It is an emotional response. You are such a sweetie no one would want to provoke that in you.
My take on the museum thing...I actually was surprised none of your friends commented. I got what you were saying though. I thought in reply, oh, duh! Erotic + hollywood is bound to equal trash. I do think there is a difference between something not being wrong and something being pure and lovely. I am fed up with media junk.
And finally, I found myself appalled to think I got into a public discussion about sex with my own son. LOL I do not come from that generation. I am trying to keep up here. Loves : )
